List down at least 2 higher positions or different positions within the same field you would like to grow into in 2-3 years.
Assess if those positions will financially reward you and possibly cover your study costs in the long run.
Identify the most common skills and qualifications required for the positions from step 1. These skills are what you should look out for when choosing courses.
Consider your personal circumstances and needs. For example:
- In which year would you like to start your study?
- For how many years?
- What will your budget be?
- Do you have any preferences regarding the city, vibes, or lifestyle?
- What is your current English proficiency (e.g. IELTS/PTE/TOEFL)?
Update your resume (if you don’t have any, draft up one!). Please use the Australian format.
